Latest restriction changes for The Fox Goes Free:
To meet the latest restrictions advised by the Government, and so you can continue to enjoy your visits to The Fox Goes Free we have introduced even more safe space. Now, we have covered space at the front of the pub and one marquee at the back of the pub. All areas are safe for drinking and eating with the marquees heated and meeting all Government guidelines. Checkout the pictures or even better come and see for yourself. So, as always, we are ready for you whether you want to eat and drink inside or outside at The Fox Goes Free. The Fox Goes Free is a safer place to visit
Here are the changes!
We can only have so many customers so a Pub Host will be situated at the main door to greet our customers. The Host will control the number of people going into the pub. If you have booked in advance this will make it much easier for all of us.
The team will all look different as they will be wearing visors during service. This is to protect everyone.
There is a one-way system for entry and exit to minimise social contact. This will have to be strictly controlled so your help and support will be needed.
Inside everyone must be seated, so for those of you who have booked a table, you will be taken directly to your seats. Strict queuing guidelines for the bar will be observed inside the pub to ensure social distancing.
For drinking only there is space at both the front and back of the pub. We have put up a marquee and there are parasols at all the tables so you do not need to get wet, however at busy times space may be limited again to ensure social distancing.
With new technology, food and drink can now be ordered from staff in the garden and at the front of the pub and will be brought to your table. Cutlery and condiments will not be left on the tables, they will be delivered with each service.
Hand sanitisers are placed around the pub for customers and staff. Everyone is encouraged to use these frequently. Keep hands clean and safe.
Tables have been repositioned so please do not move them and where necessary we have portable screens between tables. Both of these changes are helping us manage social distancing.
Staff will be completing regular and additional cleaning routines so nothing is left to chance.
All menus will be cleaned after each and every use and remember contactless payment is preferred.
Toilets are available however this will be on a “one in one out” basis and please use the hand sanitiser before and after – it makes sense!
As you would expect all the team have been fully trained in all the new procedures to ensure customer and staff safety .
