At the Fox Goes Free there is always something going on! The Fox Goes Free is the closest pub to Goodwood, so our busy events calendar regularly includes Horse Racing, Glorious Goodwood, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and similar motor related gatherings.
Our close proximity to West Dean Gardens enhances our events calendar with food and music festivals which start in April and go on till October. The Fox Goes Free is often a popular watering hole for keen ramblers and cyclists enjoying our location at the foot of Levin Down in the beautiful South Downs.
We offer an excellent pre or après social for all the local events and cater for these with a well organised food, drink and accommodation offering. We often enhance these events with barbecues, outside bars all within our beautiful garden over looking the South Downs.
Our social calendar also includes occasional Live music events which always creates a lively atmosphere and is great fun too! We have our own monthly clay pigeon shoot, which operates from September till April and is a firm favourite with our loyal regulars and newcomers alike.
With quiz nights, wine tastings, Friday night meat raffles and charity events there is always something to do and see at the Fox Goes Free! See you soon.
