Back by popular demand, and the huge success of last year’s shoots, we shall be continuing these over the later part of the year.

The Fox Shoot day includes:

• Brunch @ The Fox.
• Shooting @ Apsley Sporting, Cowdray.. Inc catrdiges, gun & tuition.
• Dinner @ The Fox, sat in the restraunt and also a small prize-giving.

Our beautiful beer garden with gorgeous surrroundings and views over the downs is perfect for an afternoon of sitting in the sun and having fun. And why not enjoy some food whilst you’re here ?

We have a lovely selection of snacks and sharing plates available as well as bar meals and main meals, so why not head down today ?!

We do not reserve our outside tables but work around a first-come, first-served basis. We look forward to you joining us throughout the summer months with lovely beer and food.

We will also be serving food and drink so why not pop down for a pint, some grub, and a great atmosphere !

The bands tend to start playing at around half past 8 in the main bar area, yet the restaurant will still be available for those who fancy a quieter evening.

Otter Amber was first brewed for the trade in March 2009 as a mid gravity beer to complete the Otter range. Over the last 10 years the ‘mid gravity’ beer has become  popular with drinkers, delivering a reasonable strength
with great flavour. This gave us the opportunity to develop a really
special beer, which within a month of its launch, won its first
award in Newton Abbot at SIBA’s prestigious Tuckers Maltings beer
festival. Otter Amber has all the qualities of other Otter beers but
with a more complex mix of aroma and flavour.

Otter Ale…….

This is the beer that started it all. The head of the stable.A premium beer’s alcohol content should always be high enough to enable a perfect balance with flavour and aroma. Otter Ale is a very well balanced beer that delivers the flavours of quality floor malted barley and finishes with a combination of fruit and some bitterness. Its nose is a balance of malt and fruit.

Steaks and sauces will change every week, so make sure you get down as often as you can so as not to miss out on anything!
